Last update 11-10-03 REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION 1. An attitude of openness and of service in the face of suffering as well as a desire to grow in union with those who suffer. 2 Regular participation in parish worship. 3. Be of good physical and psychological health. 4. Exhibit a capacity for communal living. Possess an adequate level of education in faith and openness to the action of the Spirit on our religious lives. 5. Engage in regular Spiritual Direction. 6. Meet with Vocation Director on a regular basis or as possible. 7. Begin a process of slowing down - letting go, taking time to reflect on where the Spirit is calling you. 8. Partake in deep periods of prayer before the Most Blessed Sacrament regularly. __________________________________________________ REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 1. Formal Application 2. Here at the Monastery members may be Orthodox, Byzantine, Eastern Catholic, Roman Catholic, and in some circumstances, others. Only those who are Orthodox can be ordained to the Priesthood or Deaconate. All others are discussed individually with the Abbot and or Metropolitan.
